“Goblet of Fire” Internationally Top Film of 2005
Although Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith was America’s highest-grossing film of 2005, accumulating $380m (Goblet of Fire grossed $277m), it fell behind Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by around $67m in international box office sales.
The latest installment in the Potter movie series also became the UK’s most successful film of 2005. To date, Goblet of Fire has collected $812m worldwide.
