Fan visits Leavesden Studios in attempt to get a role

Here's a very intriguing story from The Telegraph: a 21-year-old Potter fan from California has been outside of Leavesden Studios (where all the Potter films are shot) since Monday in an attempt to get a role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:

The student has maintained the 12-hour watch since Monday – and vows to use every penny of his savings to carry on “as long as it takes”.

Brent said he sent the makers of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' a string of pleading letters, but when these were ignored he “decided to come to them”.

His dedication has already cost him a new job in the US, £1,400 on open return flights, and £400-a-week on accommodation and living expenses in Watford.

Each day Brent has stood holding various posters and placards to try and grab the attention of film bosses make is mark on the film industry.
