Blockbuster announces HBP DVD midnight release parties

Blockbuster has let us know that they're hosting many midnight release parties for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD on the night of December 7th!

Stop by participating local BLOCKBUSTER stores to win some amazing Harry Potter prizes, participate in exciting activities, purchase past Harry Potter movies and be among the first to rent or purchase “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” on DVD or Blu-ray when it goes on sale at midnight.

For fans who can't attend or stay until the midnight release, copies can be reserved in advance for just $5 and purchased in whole on a later date. In addition to the single-disc DVD, BLOCKBUSTER will be offering several special editions: a two-disc DVD version and a Blu-ray+DVD+Digital Copy Combo Pack. Also available will be a Harry Potter Years 1-6 Giftset, featuring all six of the Harry Potter movies, on DVD or Blu-ray.
