Art director Alan Gilmore discusses Wizarding World theme park

In a new interview with Orlando Attractions Magazine, Alan Gilmore, the art director for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter discusses the theme park itself, the Forbidden Journey ride, J.K. Rowling and more.

Gilmore says that in addition to the Potter films he has worked on, he has spent the past 3.5 years on the park and won’t really be finished until June 18.

He believes Universal will have some sort of soft opening date, but is unsure as to when.

The art director also gave his thoughts on who could be at the grand opening, and confirmed that author J.K. Rowling approved everything in the park.
