Wizards and Witches descended upon Aeternitas 2011 this past weekend

by Keith Hawk · Published May 2, 2011 · Updated January 19, 2017

This past weekend I was joined by 300 other witches and wizards in the small northern town of Laconia, New Hampshire for a fantastic Harry Potter convention called Aeternitas 2011. The HP-MA and TGTSNBN groups, led by Amanda Burke and Jonathon Rosenthal, put together this amazing event, and all proceeds were given to the Harry Potter Alliance and The Lung Cancer Alliance.

Events included a Wizarding Fashion Show, Wrock concerts, Hogwarts style classes, Quidditch, a marvelous Wizard Ball, and even a Family Feud game. Keynote speakers for the event were Robyn Schaffer and Leanna Renee Hieber, and there was even an HP themed burlesque show by Epic Win Burlesque of New York City. A wonderful time was had by all.

For a full review of the activities and even some pictures from the event of this past weekend, read my full review here.
