Fandom videos spotlight: Hermione Granger tribute and David Bowie song

Last Monday, MuggleNet showcased two Harry Potter-themed internet videos as part of our new weekly web video feature. This week, we are back again. As today (September 19th) is Hermione Granger’s birthday, our videos this week were selected in her honor.

For view here in our feed (and at this link) is a very special cover of singer Demi Lovato’s “Like a Skyscraper” (official music video here). Presented as a Hermione character study, it features voiceovers and clips from each of the Potter films and, in our opinion, is expertly crafted to fit well with the song.

In our second featured video, superstar musician David Bowie’s 1969 song “Letter to Hermione” (which appeared on Space Oddity) is given a Harry Potter treatment, set to a Hermione video montage.

Both videos show the softer side to Hermione, who turns 32 today. We will return next week with more fandom videos! As always, if you would like to suggest your video to be featured, you can contact us. Thanks to Red Weasley for our featured suggestion this week.
