Video: Emma Watson continues ‘Perks’ promo tour on ‘LIVE with Kelly’ and ‘Late Show with Jimmy Fallon’

by Keith Hawk · Published September 14, 2012 · Updated January 19, 2017

Emma Watson continues to tour the United States promoting her soon-to-be-released film The Perks of Being a Wallflower by appearing on LIVE with Kelly and Michael during the day followed by The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon Thursday night.

On both shows, Emma had to confront questions of being the “Most Dangerous Celebrity” to search on the Internet, to which she told Kelly, “I guess it means I’m reasonably popular.”

Clips for the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower were also shared on both shows. Emma stated that “The film is so personal to me, it was such a meaningful experience making it, and then to have other people respond to it and hearing other people in the theater laughing hysterically and crying hysterically to all the bits that I connected to made it more overwhelming by seeing other people respond and appreciate it.”

Emma appears on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon around the 16 minute mark and you can watch that right here. At the end of Emma’s appearance, she shares some of her dance moves with Jimmy from Perks; a terrific segment for Emma fans.

The film is due out September 21 in theaters. Will you be going to see Perks in theaters when it opens? Let us know in the comments below.

Quotes

  • “Only this morning, for instance, I took a wrong turning on the way to the bathroom and found myself in a beautifully proportioned room I have never seen before, containing a really rather magnificent collection of chamber pots. When I went back to investigate more closely, I discovered that the room had vanished.”
