Win a Visit to the Set of TV Series “Downton Abbey”, Starring Dame Maggie Smith

by Claire Furner · Published February 5, 2014 · Updated October 16, 2017

If bidding on a chance to visit the set of Downton Abbey was a little out of your budget, the cast of the hit British series may have something just for you!

You can now enter to WIN the chance to spend a day on set with the cast of the internationally adored drama. At just $10 per entry, you will be entered into a prize draw to win flights to London for you and a friend, before being whisked away by your valet to the London studios where Downton Abbey is partially filmed.

During your visit you will learn how to be in the company of Lords and Ladies, how to properly set a table for dinner, and discover just how detailed the sets truly are. What’s more, every entry also includes a corresponding gift. Ranging from a digital “Thank You” card to dinner cooked, in your home, by Mrs. Patmore herself, there is certainly an option for every budget.

Still not convinced? The cast of the show has offered up ten brilliant reasons why you should enter, all enclosed in the charming and entertaining video above. Be warned: They are quite the cheeky bunch!

To donate to this worthwhile cause, and for a chance to win the epic prize, head here. The charity behind this fundraising effort is Be the Change.

If this competition could be run for any other TV or film series starring a Potter actor, which would you pick? Let us know in the comments section below.
