Alfie Enoch nominated for NAACP Image Award

Earlier today, the nominees for the 2015 NAACP Image Awards were announced. Making the list of nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series is Harry Potter’s own Alfie Enoch (Dean Thomas). Enoch was nominated for his portrayal of law student Wes Gibbins on the ABC hit series How to Get Away with Murder. The NAACP Image Awards honor outstanding people of color in television, film, music, and literature.

Other actors nominated for the award include Guillermo Diaz (Scandal), Joe Morton (Scandal), Courtney B. Vance (Masters of Sex), and Jeffrey Wright (Boardwalk Empire). Enoch’s How to Get Away with Murder co-star Aja Naomi King was also nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.

Nominated for multiple NAACP Image Awards, including Outstanding Motion Picture, was the film Belle, featuring Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy). In the British period drama, Felton portrays the bigoted James Ashford. The film was released on Blu-ray in August of this year.

The 46th NAACP Image Awards will be taking place on February 6, 2015.
