Trailer released for Frank Dillane and Brendan Gleeson’s “In the Heart of the Sea”

Warner Bros. Entertainment has recently released a trailer for their new maritime drama In the Heart of the Sea, starring Frank Dillane (young Tom Riddle, Half-Blood Prince) and Brendan Gleeson (Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody). We first posted in July about Gleeson’s role as Old Thomas Nickerson, an older version of a survived crew member, and speculation surrounding Dillane’s role as insubordinate crew member Owen Coffin.

The film, based on the novel by Nathaniel Philbrick, follows the true story of a whaling ship and its crew who were attacked by a large sperm whale in 1820 and left stranded at sea for 90 days. This story would eventually be the inspiration for Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick.

In the Heart of the Sea opens on March 13, 2015, in theaters and IMAX.
