First scene released from Sir Kenneth Branagh’s “Cinderella”

With only a couple of weeks to go until Sir Kenneth Branagh’s eagerly anticipated live-action Cinderella hits theaters, we now have the first scene! The clip shows us the exciting first meeting between Cinderella, played by Lily James (Downton Abbey), and Prince Charming, played by Richard Madden (Game of Thrones).

The film also stars Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) as the Fairy Godmother and Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother, Lady Tremaine.

Cinderella will be released March 13 in the US and March 27 in the UK.
