Rupert Grint stars in first clip from “Moonwalkers”!

With the premiere of Rupert Grint’s Moonwalkers happening later today at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas, we now have a first look at the film, thanks to Partizan.

Moonwalkers is a comedic exploration of the conspiracy theories surrounding the 1969 moon landing. CIA agent Kidman (played by Ron Pearlman) is sent by the US government to persuade director Stanley Kubrick to shoot a fake moon landing in a studio. Instead, Kidman is forced to work with Jonny (Rupert Grint), a rock band manager. Check out the first meeting of the two in the clip below:

You can also take a look at some stills that we previously shared.

Unfortunately, the film does not yet have a theatrical release date, but we’ll keep you updated!

What do you think of the clip? Are you looking forward to seeing Rupert in Moonwalkers?
