“Philosopher’s Stone” Wins Audible UK’s Audiobook of the Year!

The popularity of Harry Potter shows no signs of slowing down, as listeners voted Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone Audible UK’s Members’ Choice for Audiobook of the Year 2015!

As we reported last week, it was nominated alongside Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling) and ten more of the year’s best audiobooks.

The prize was given alongside the Editors’ Pick for Audiobook of the Year, which was awarded to Black Eyed Susans by Julia Heaberlin.

Three versions of the Harry Potter digital audiobook series were made available on Audible just last month: the Jim Dale-narrated version available in North America, the German version narrated by Felix von Manteuffel available in Germany, and the Stephen Fry-narrated version available in the rest of the world. Fans were delighted at the news. The books have excellent reviews on both the UK and US websites.
