First Trailer for Daniel Radcliffe’s “Imperium” Is Here!
The first official trailer for Daniel Radcliffe’s latest film Imperium is upon us! It follows the release of a brand new poster for the film last week.
Imperium sees Radcliffe play Nate Foster, an FBI agent who goes undercover in order to infiltrate a gang of white supremacists building a dirty bomb. Toni Collette co-stars as Angela Zamparo, Foster’s case agent and supervisor. The director, Daniel Ragussis, divulged some more information in a recent interview.
It was inspired by real events and co-written by Michael German, a former agent who spent years inside the neo-Nazi movement. Daniel Radcliffe plays Nate Foster, the agent. His greatest strengths are his intelligence and his people skills; I learned from Michael that actual undercover agents are primarily master manipulators — able to win confidences, control situations, and out-think the enemy, even when mortal danger is staring them in the face. Toni Collette plays Angela Zamparo, his case agent and supervisor. She’s spent years focusing on white supremacist terrorism and is really the only person out there [who]’s focused on keeping Nate alive.
Meanwhile, Dan recently took questions (including some Potter related!) from children while promoting his other new film project, Swiss Army Man. Check out the video below.
Imperium hits theaters and on-demand Friday, August 19. What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited to see Dan’s latest role?
