Rupert Sheeran? Ed Grint? It’s Anyone’s Guess!

Anyone with eyes can see that Rupert Grint and everyone’s favorite ginger crooner, Ed Sheeran, have some serious similarities. In fact, Rupert even played Sheeran in his video for “Lego House” way back in 2011.

Recently on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where Rupert was promoting his new tv series, Snatch, he revealed that he is often mistaken for Sheeran!

It’s like if someone stops me, it could go either way. I could be Ed or I could be me. Leo Sayer… he came up to me, and he said he loved my music, of course, thinking I was Ed. I just, yeah, I play along.

The similarities don’t seem to bother Rupert much, apparently! He laughs off anytime the mix-up happens and is pretty laid-back.

But Rupert, how laid back is too laid back? He also went on to state that he once caught fire without realizing it. If it hadn’t been for one Sir John Hurt, he wouldn’t have even noticed!

I was at the Edinburgh Festival, and it was a screening for a film, and I actually felt quite hot… John Hurt – the late, great John Hurt – he came up to me and said, ‘Um, do you know you’re on fire, my boy?’

Oh, Rupert… what are we going to do with you?
