Experience “Fantastic Beasts” in a Whole New Way with the Kindle in Motion Illustrated Version!

We’re now just four days away from the November 7 release of Olivia Lomenech Gill’s illustrated edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and it looks like readers will have a whole new way to experience the generously illustrated text.

Both Amazon and Amazon UK are offering the book in a special Kindle in Motion version – though the item descriptions emphasize that the books can be read on multiple devices (not just Kindles).

Never heard of Kindle in Motion? Here are the basic details:

Kindle in Motion books include art, animation, or video features that can be viewed on certain Fire tablets and the free Kindle app for iOS and Android. You can switch features on or off at any time.

Though most of us are book lovers who would want to own a physical copy of the illustrated edition, we have to admit that the Kindle in Motion version is pretty… magical. Check out a preview below or visit Amazon to see more.

Both the US and UK versions are currently available for pre-order! Will any of you be going digital for this release?

I've been making magic at MuggleNet since 2012, when I first joined the staff as a News intern. I've never wavered from the declaration in my childhood journal, circa October 2000: "I LOVE Harry Potter! If I clean my room, my mom says she'll make me a dinner a wizard would love!" Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
