Social Media Roundup: On the Screen and the Stage
Guess what time it is? Time for another Social Media Roundup! In this week’s roundup, your favorite wizarding world stars promote their newest stage shows, urge viewers to #ProtectTheSecrets of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and more!
Ahead of the Crimes of Grindelwald release, Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) reminded fans to #ProtectTheSecrets.
It’s certainly been a busy few weeks for the Crimes of Grindelwald cast members, who have been traveling around the world for premieres and fan events. Here’s a cast photo at the London premiere last Tuesday.
Stan Yanevski showed off his new mini figurines of his Harry Potter character, the one-and-only Durmstrang champion Viktor Krum.
#Dramione shippers, rejoice! Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) reunited, and Watson posted this adorable beach photo in support of Origin, Felton’s new YouTube Originals sci-fi thriller.
Katie Leung (Cho Chang) shared images from a Getty Images photoshoot with photographer Gareth Cattermole (think he’s any relation to Reg?).
Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown) opened her solo comedy show, Sunrise, at the Soho Theatre in London. Get your tickets here!
Luke Newberry (Teddy Lupin) promoted the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Macbeth, in which he plays the role of Malcolm. The play is currently running at the Barbican and is on until January 2019 – get tickets here.
James Phelps (Fred Weasley) also promoted his new play The Greater Game, which is currently in the midst of a sold-out run in London.

Huge thank you to everyone who has come to see The Greater Game in our opening week. Amazing to say that the show is almost sold out for the rest of the run too! It really is an honour to tell their story. Thanks to @davidemeryphoto for the photo of me as Orient legend and war hero Richard McFadden #TheGreaterGame
It’s certainly been a busy couple of weeks. We’ll see you next time for another installment of Social Media Roundup.
