by Mary Wojcicki · April 17, 2019

Visitors to Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood can now take tours of the backlot with a Mandarin-speaking guide, according to a press release from Warner Bros. that was published on Acrofan. The tours are being offered five days a week (Monday through Friday) at three different times each day. Tours are also offered in English, French, and Spanish.

Each Mandarin-language guided tour (starting at 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., or 2:30 p.m.) is three hours in length and takes fans behind the scenes of the working Hollywood studio. In addition to many of Warner Bros.’ other properties, the Studio Tour has a little magic: The second floor of the studio’s archive features the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

Guests can get up-close-and-personal [sic] with authentic props and costumes worn by Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), see the original costumes worn by Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), and more from the Fantastic Beasts films, [and] let the Sorting Hat reveal their true Hogwarts house.

Press Release
Explore our iconic studio that brings fans closer to the entertainment they love, including Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Wizarding World films, and much more

BURBANK, California, April 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood (WBSTH) is now offering tours of the legendary backlot in Mandarin three times a day Monday through Friday at 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 2:30 PM. During the three-hour interactive experience, fans get a revealing look at how movie magic has been made over the past 95 years as they touch, tour, and explore a working Hollywood studio. In intimate groups led by knowledgeable Mandarin-speaking tour guides, guests visit the sets and soundstages that have been home to their favorite film and TV shows, such as Friends, Batman, The Big Bang Theory, Ellen, La La Land, and many more.

As one of the many stops on the Studio Tour, guests will visit DC Universe: The Exhibit, currently featuring the immensely popular Wonder Woman exhibit with authentic props and costumes straight from the film on display inside the Warner Bros. Archive. Additionally, guests will journey through the visually stunning underwater realm of Atlantis in the newest exhibit from DC's latest action-packed origin story, Aquaman. Guests can get up close to authentic props and costumes worn by Jason Momoa, such as the gold-leafed Trident of Atlantis as well as the hero gold and green suit, showcasing the evolution from his human upbringing as Arthur Curry to his final ascendance as Aquaman. In addition, fans can see the original costumes worn by Mera (Amber Heard), Arthur's mother Queen Atlanna (Nicole Kidman), father Tom Curry (Temuera Morrison), the vengeful Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), and King Orm (Patrick Wilson). As an interactive photo op, fans can sit upon the Dead King's Throne as seen in the film to become King or Queen of Atlantis.

On the second floor of the Archive, fans of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series are offered an in-depth look at how the Wizarding World has been brought to life over the past 18 years. In addition to their stop at the Archive, guests of the Studio Tour will also visit The Batcave, featuring some of Batman's most famous vehicles as seen and used in the many films over the years.

The Studio Tour concludes at Stage 48: Script to Screen, an interactive soundstage offering guests a unique opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes of the film and television production process. Guests can navigate through Gotham City on a Batpod and learn how to fly a Nimbus series broomstick through Hogwarts using green screen technology. Friends fans can sit on the original orange couch on the actual Central Perk set from the hit comedy and even grab lunch at the Central Perk Café, serving up a variety of gourmet sandwiches, pizzas, and Friends-inspired sweet treats.

Before departing, guests can visit the Warner Bros. Studio Store and find the perfect gifts to bring home to friends and family. With a wide variety of exclusive merchandise – including mugs, keychains, pens, hats, pins, t-shirts, and more – from film and TV favorites like The Big Bang Theory, Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, Gilmore Girls, Casablanca, Friends, and Batman, there's something fit for every kind of fan.
