Cast Your Vote for Hogwarts Prom King and Queen 2019!

It’s May, which means prom season is here! Students are celebrating the end of the school year by picking out their fanciest outfits to dance the night away in school gymnasiums.

After reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the Yule Ball became ultimate #PromGoals. I loved it all: the outfits (even Ron’s secondhand dress robes), the dancing, the awkward teenage romantic drama, and the rowdy Weird Sisters rock concert to end the night. Wouldn’t you love to spend your high school prom at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?

Unfortunately, Hogwarts isn’t accessible by limousine. (Haven’t you read Hogwarts, A History?) MuggleNet can’t bring you to a magical Hogwarts prom. However, we thought we’d put an enchanted spin on one prom night tradition.

We want to hear whom you’d pick for Hogwarts Prom King and Queen 2019!

Here, MuggleNet has compiled a list of nominations from Harry Potter’s time at Hogwarts. Many familiar names made our list. If we missed any worthy candidates, fear not! You can add your own nomination for prom king and queen. Voting will continue throughout May, and at the end of the month, we will crown one lucky wizard and witch as Hogwarts Prom King and Queen 2019.

It’s hard to predict who will win! Will your vote for prom king go to a Quidditch star like Viktor Krum or a lovable nerd like Neville Longbottom? Are you stuck between one of the Patil twins or one of the Weasley twins for the crown? Should you vote based on your Hogwarts House or who gets the best grades? Will your favorite Harry Potter ship win together or a pair of best Hogwarts buddies?

How will you determine who should win this most coveted title? Choose one, some, or all of your favorites OR type in your favorite character to enter them in the running for the coveted title of prom king or queen.

Triwizard Tournament, who? This is the real determination for eternal glory at Hogwarts!

Cast your vote here. MuggleNet will reveal the Hogwarts Prom King and Queen 2019 at the end of the month, so stay tuned!

In third grade, my teacher told me Harry Potter was from the devil, so naturally, I have been obsessed with the books ever since. I'm a Gryffindor, a Leo (like J.K. Rowling), and I work at a boarding school (like Hogwarts). I write hot takes on the wizarding world from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
