Social Media Roundup: ‘Tis the Season to Be Creatively Festive

by Sarah Wylde · December 13, 2020

Welcome back! It is once again time to catch up with some of the Wizarding World stars for the latest edition of MuggleNet’s Social Media Roundup! During the past two weeks, there was a Harry Potter watch party, a birthday celebrated, creative project updates, podcast fun, and quite a few Wizarding World stars getting into the holiday spirit.

Returning to continue his Harry Potter rewatch, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) shared a picture of a young Draco with his wand up just before he says, “Scared, Pottah?”

Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) is away from home preparing to start work on his next project, Cinderella, in which he will play the Fairy Godfather. Having not been away from home for long since March, when COVID began, he felt like he was doing something wrong.

The music streaming service Spotify has a feature allowing its users to see what their most-listened-to songs, albums, and even podcasts of the year were. James Phelps (Fred Weasley) extended his thanks and appreciation to those who had the Phelps brothers’ podcast, Double Trouble, in their lists.

Big thank you to everyone for sharing your most listened to podcasts and having our #DoubleTrouble podcast in their lists. 🤗 We will return to the podcast world before you know it. #DidYouKnow #SpotifyWrapped #OliverRants

Jamie Campbell Bower (young Gellert Grindelwald) released some new music as prologue part one and two. The string instruments and piano, along with Bower’s powerful, emotional voice, give us chills. The full videos for the songs “Paralysed” and “Start the Fire,” both recorded live, can be found on his website.
