EXCLUSIVE: New Character Names Announced for “Fantastic Beasts” 3
As we eagerly count down the days until the release of the third Fantastic Beasts film next summer, fans are ready for any and all new information. Today, we at MuggleNet are excited to announce that we have learned the names of three new characters: Polaris N.D. Malfoy, Prof. Sally Adio, and Prof. Lola Daisy. All will be played by unknown actors: Taylor Woolton, Esperanza Vilgositto, and Kalliyope Floras, respectively.
MuggleNet has been given exclusive details on Polaris N.D. Malfoy, who is described as “an enigmatic figure whose true intentions are difficult to deduce.” Polaris will have some information that Newt and his friends will be tempted by, but gaining that information could cost them dearly.
We can exclusively reveal that Polaris is related to Lucius Malfoy but has only been described as a “cousin,” which could be a generic description of the relationship. At the time of the third Fantastic Beasts film, Polaris still very much believes in the superiority of the Malfoy family. In fact, Polaris is attempting to gain more power for the family by working in the British royal household, using magic to exert influence. However, Polaris’s allegiance in the wizarding world is unclear; the character was described as having “gray morality.”
Polaris has a wand of elm and dragon heartstring. According to the information given on wand woods, elm wands “prefer owners with presence, magical dexterity and a certain native dignity,” a quality that gave rise to the belief that they can only be wielded by pure-blood witches and wizards – a belief Polaris maintains.
As a teenager, Polaris was also an exchange student at Ilvermorny; could this be the source of the tantalizing information? We have also learned that this new character has a history with other characters we know, including Leta Lestrange. Their relationship was described as “a close friendship that ended in an explosive tragedy.”
We are more than intrigued and excited by this reveal, and we can’t wait to learn more!
