“Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery” Cooking Up Some Fun with New Contest
For a lot of us right now, it’s hot outside! That makes it a little bit easier for us to stay indoors with a cold glass of pumpkin juice and play Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. With the free energy gift offered yesterday, there came a few more surprises for players. Whether you’re excited about participating in the official Hogwarts Mystery Cookoff or the Time Toffees to help speed progress through wait times, we’ve got you covered.
Let’s get right into the Hogwarts Mystery Cookoff happening now! The latest special adventure featured Tulip’s grans, who are wizarding world-famous chefs, making a visit to Hogwarts to host the Great Hogwarts Cook-Off. What would Hogwarts Mystery be without a little trouble cooking up during the contest, of course? Between duels and dough monsters, our characters tasted the sweet reward of bringing friends and family together.

To celebrate diversity through something that brings us all together, Hogwarts Mystery is hosting a contest that you can participate in right now. It’s easy to take part in the cook-off. Cook up a dish that represents who you are and your culture, take a photo of the finished product, and submit your photo by using #HogwartsMysteryCookoff on Instagram. Rules also ask you to write #HogwartsMystery on a card and include it in the photo for verification. You must submit your dish by June 17, and voting will begin on June 17 and end on June 19. During these few days, cast your vote for your favorite dish by liking it on Instagram. The top five posts will receive some amazing in-game prizes! While you’re waiting for your entry dish to finish up in the kitchen, it’s the perfect chance to use up some free Time Toffees given out in-game (check your Mokeskin pouch). This new feature allows you to use a toffee to reduce or skip eligible waits. Regular Time Toffees knock off up to three hours of wait time, and Golden Time Toffees let you speed through any wait – no matter how long. Some of us might have already spent our toffees while studying with friends, but chances to unlock more are on the way.
