“Tournament of Houses” Nominated for Producers Guild Award

It’s safe to say that Potterheads kicked this year off with a bang. The highly anticipated HBO Max special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts ensured a magical start to 2022. We cried happy and sad tears as we were taken back to the start of the franchise’s journey. It was a bittersweet experience, and we wouldn’t have wanted to start the year any other way.

We also had tons of fun testing our Harry Potter knowledge with the Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses game show that aired last November and December. Hosted by Dame Helen Mirren, known for her work in The Queen and RED, this four-part quiz show was a ridiculous amount of fun with fans from all over the world participating. It was the perfect opportunity to rediscover some fun facts you forgot. The wizarding world is full of fine details that sometimes slip our minds, and this show was a great refresher.

According to TheWrap, the Producers Guild of America has released the first round of nominations for its 33rd annual awards and has nominated Hogwarts Tournament of Houses in the Outstanding Children’s Program category, along with Dinsey Plus’ Muppets Haunted Mansion special.

We are so excited to see that Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses is getting this recognition. Do you think it will win? Let us know in the comments.

Growing up, I was a massive fan of Harry Potter and my love for the stories grew as I got older. It’s no surprise then that I love writing about all things Potter related. When I’m not writing about all the magic, you’ll find me reading (probably something Harry Potter related), listening to music, or writing some songs.
