Dame Helen Mirren to Host “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” on HBO Max

The wait is over, Muggles! It’s been confirmed from Wizarding World Digital that Dame Helen Mirren will be the host of the highly anticipated HBO Max Harry Potter quiz show, which now has a title: Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.

We’re so excited to welcome Mirren to the Wizarding World family. She is notably known for her work in RED and The Queen. It looks like she will be switching her crown out for the Sorting Hat, and she is thrilled to join in on the fun.

I knew someday I’d get a Harry Potter role, and I’m so pleased to take part in the 20-year film celebration. The films inspired such enchantment and wonder for so many of us, and it will be such a treat to reignite that magic for the countless fans who continue to revel in this spellbinding world.

This exciting four-part quiz competition has had Potter fans buzzing for quite a while. This show will offer fans the chance to win all the glory for their respective Hogwarts Houses. It’s going to feature hundreds of trivia questions and have special guest surprises. To add to the uniqueness of this competition, fans will have the opportunity to play along at home. At the end of the competition, a House Cup will be revealed. The competition will be on Cartoon Network and TBS following its premiere date.

This series of trivia is sure to be an amazing and unforgettable experience for fans all across the globe. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses is another one of the wonderful celebrations surrounding the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
