Umbridge Toilet Paper and Broomstick Plunger Among New “Potter” Bathroom Merchandise

The massive influx of Harry Potter merchandise in recent years has made it possible for fans to incorporate their fandom into nearly every aspect of their daily lives. From clothing to home goods to cookware, you can show your Potter pride everywhere you go. While some items seem like a natural fit with plenty of room for creative design – like socks, mugs, jewelry, and journals – Hogwarts crests have also been added to more random objects, such as eyelash curlers. Adding to personal care items like makeup, hairbrushes, and towels, fans will soon to able to spruce up their bathrooms in Potter-ific style with new officially licensed merchandise.

Why stick to regular two-ply toilet paper when you could wipe with the face of one of the most hated characters in the Wizarding World? Dolores Jane Umbridge herself will be featured on these new rolls, the result of a collaboration between Warner Bros. and Charmin. The paper itself will be – what else? – pink, adorned with portraits of the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, Hogwarts High Inquisitor, Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, temporary headmistress, and Head of the Muggle-born Registration Commission.

Umbridge’s face will be interspersed with cat paw prints to symbolize her favorite animal. No word yet on whether other characters or themes might eventually be featured on rolls, but Umbridge seems like a solid place to start. Black quill not included – or so we hope – that is, unless you count the black toilet brush that comes with each pack.

To go along with your toilet paper, you will soon be able to purchase a plunger in the shape of a broomstick. Sources report that Nimbus 2001 and Firebolt models will be available. The handle will look like polished wood and have the model name inscribed in gold. Manage clogs with a bit of magic!

Fred and George once promised Ginny a Hogwarts toilet seat and actually tried to send one to Harry in the hospital wing. We can only assume that those seats look pretty standard, but Warner Bros. will also be licensing Hogwarts toilet seat covers. Other items rumored to be coming soon to a bathroom near you include loofahs shaped like Pygmy Puffs and Potter Potties for toilet users in training. You can never start them too young! Every fan knows that when it comes to how much merch is too much, the limit does not exist.

Stay tuned for more about the availability and pricing of these exciting new items.
