“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” Is Heading to Macao

The popular Harry Potter: The Exhibition, a traveling exhibition that features authentic props, costumes, artifacts, and sets from the Harry Potter films, is heading to Macao, a territory of China, later this year.

Set to open in December 2023 at the Londoner, Macao, this will be the exhibition’s fifth stop in the Asia Pacific, after Sydney, Australia, in 2011; Singapore in 2012; Tokyo, Japan, in 2013; and Shanghai, China, in 2015.

Tickets for Macao’s exhibition are not yet available, but fans can sign up online to join the waiting list for tickets.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition began touring internationally in 2009. At first, it was focused only on the Harry Potter film series, but an expanded version of the exhibition debuted in 2022 with the conclusion of the Fantastic Beasts films.

Other current locations of Harry Potter: The Exhibition are the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, which opened last month, and Herald Square in New York City, New York, which opened just a week ago.

The exhibition has also made recent appearances at 200 Peachtree in Atlanta, Georgia; the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and the METAStadt in Vienna, Austria.
