“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” Opens Today at Nya Parken, Norrköping, Sweden

by Keith Hawk · May 28, 2014

Last night, James and Oliver Phelps – who portrayed Fred and George Weasley – opened the 11th stop of Harry Potter: The Exhibition on its worldwide tour. MuggleNet was there, and the Phelps twins also shared their thoughts during a media round table discussion.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition started showcasing props, sets, and other amazing items from the Harry Potter film franchise when it made its premiere in Chicago. Since then, it has been on an international tour with multiple stops in the United States and Canada, Australia, Japan, and Singapore. Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been experienced by nearly 3 million fans since April 2009, and it will now open its doors at Nya Parken in Norrköping, Sweden, on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 10 a.m. and will remain open until Sunday, September 7, 2014.

Stefan Papangelis, the CEO of Experience Norrköping, said, “We are honored to be the first city in Europe to host this stunning exhibition. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome all Harry Potter fans to Norrköping this summer.”
