Top Five Coolest Pets in “Harry Potter”
Creatures are very important in the Harry Potter series. Magical pets are very loyal to their owners and help out in any way they can. They also have very interesting skills and qualities that make us love them even more. Here are some of the coolest pets in Harry Potter.
1. Fawkes
Fawkes is basically flawless. Phoenixes die and then are reborn from the ashes, so you won’t have to worry about him dying before you. His tears will heal you, and his feathers can be used to make wands. Fawkes is very loyal to Albus Dumbledore and will come to the aid of those who are also loyal to Dumbledore. He can even protect you from Killing Curses. Fawkes is awesome.
2. Nagini
Nagini is terrifying but still really cool. Her venom prevents blood from clotting, and it can even dissolve stitches. Looking for a new place to store a part of your soul? Nagini would be a great place to hide it. You could even see through her eyes. How cool would that be? Nagini can even impersonate people by hiding inside of their bodies. She is clearly the best pet to have if you wish to intimidate your friends and enemies.
3. Fluffy
Our favorite three-headed dog has to be included in this list. Fluffy is adorable. Sure, he may try to bite your head off, but look at how cute he is. If you play him music he’ll fall asleep, although the books never clarify if it has to be a specific type of music. Personally, I think that Fluffy would be into pop music like Ke$ha or Taylor Swift. 4. Crookshanks
Crookshanks is the best half-Kneazle around and our favorite four-legged detective. Crookshanks is highly intelligent. He knew that something was off about Scabbers, and he worked with Sirius Black to try to capture the rat. Plus, he is super cute and fluffy.
5. Hedwig
Hedwig is the coolest pet on this list. She is very smart and opinionated. One summer, she flew to France to make sure that Harry got a birthday present from Hermione. She is affectionate toward Harry throughout the books, and she lets Harry know when she is unhappy with him. In the movies, she got a heroic end. She died while trying to protect Harry and Hagrid from a Killing Curse. She gave her life so that Harry could live. Hedwig will live forever in our hearts.
