New Clip, Promo Shot, and Stills from Rupert Grint’s “Moonwalkers” Released

As the release date for Rupert Grint‘s British comedy Moonwalkers approaches, we learn more about the film. So far we know that Rupert will play Jonny, a band manager who teams up with CIA agent Leon – portrayed by Robert Sheehan (Misfits, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones) – to help Stanley Kubrick fabricate a moon landing for his film.

In the clip we see Jonny and Leon’s team working to create a set for the aforementioned faux moon landing. Below are a few stills from the film. You can view the entire extended gallery here.

George Bermann, the producer of the film, has previously commented on the tone of film, saying,

Although the movie has a left-of-field plot and is making fun of conspiracy theories, it is not a spoof like ‘Austin Powers.’ The movie is gag-laden, but it’s also a true action film with characters who actually get somewhere.
