From Chosen One to… Drug Lord?

Daniel Radcliffe has been busy recently, with projects both on the screen and the stage coming soon. With all of his recent roles, Radcliffe can add one more on-screen persona: drug smuggler. Radcliffe has been cast in the upcoming film Beast of Burden. He will star as Sean Haggerty, a drug smuggler flying illegal drugs across the border in a small plane while trying to keep his activities secret from those closest to him.

Beast of Burden has a screenplay by Adam Hoelzel and will be directed by Swedish director Jesper Ganslandt. The project is currently in pre-production.
