Pandora Jewelers Is Releasing a Line of “Harry Potter”-Inspired Products

by Aly Kirk · August 15, 2019

Save your Sickles and guard your Galleons! Your wizard wardrobe is about to become much chicer. In a new press release, Pandora Jewelers and Warner Bros. shared news of a Harry Potter-inspired line of products.

These new pieces of jewelry will have references from characters and symbols from within the Harry Potter franchise. Among the collection are 12 all-new designs, including pendants, charms, and bracelets. Pandora has yet to announce any of the actual designs, but the product is being launched in stores and on Pandora’s website in November of this year. Thankfully just in time for the holiday season! Stephen Fairchild, Pandora’s chief creative and brand officer, hopes the collection will reach fans on a new level.

Pandora jewelry brings personal stories to life, and the friendship, love and bravery told in Harry Potter resonates [sic] with Pandora’s fans. We’re thrilled to bring this collection to fans around the world.

This collaborative decision comes after a rough start to the year for Pandora. Shares have reportedly been down 13% since the beginning of 2019, now making this year Pandora’s third consecutive year of stock losses. The Harry Potter designs, the recently released Disney charms, and a third new collection featuring Millie Bobby Brown are all part of the jewelry company’s two-year rebranding program.

Pandora and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announce Harry Potter[-]inspired collection

Global collaboration will introduce hand-finished jewelry inspired by the iconic Harry Potter films. Products will be available across all of Pandora’s stores and online from November.

Today, Pandora announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to introduce a collection of Harry Potter[-]themed jewelry. Launching later this year, Pandora will debut a capsule collection of 12 hand-finished products, including charms, pendants and a bracelet inspired by iconic characters and symbols from the Harry Potter films.

Pandora’s Chief Creative and Brand Officer Stephen Fairchild says of the partnership: “Harry Potter has brought joy and a belief in magic to generations, and Pandora fans have asked for this collection for years. Pandora jewelry brings personal stories to life, and the friendship, love and bravery told in Harry Potter resonates [sic] with Pandora’s fans. We’re thrilled to bring this collection to fans around the world.”

When designing the collection, Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli, Pandora’s VP Creative Directors, were inspired by iconic characters to create hand-crafted jewelry that celebrates both Pandora and Harry Potter.

The Harry Potter x Pandora collection will be in Pandora stores worldwide and on pandora.net from November 28th, 2019.
