Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley), and Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood) had some pretty fantastic interactions with Lin-Manuel Miranda as the Potter actors geeked out over Hamilton, and Miranda, in turn, expressed his Potter appreciation.

Felton kicked off the action by tweeting his admiration for Hamilton.

My new favourite show. I’ve never seen or heard anything quite like it. Bravo 👏🏼 @HamiltonMusical @Lin_Manuel

— Tom Felton (@TomFelton) September 13, 2019

Miranda seemed pretty pumped by the compliment.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat let’s go 🐍🐍 https://t.co/dn7orAllMl

— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) September 13, 2019

Felton responded with a pretty tempting offer.

can get you into Hogwarts. I know peeps https://t.co/jRdc8gbdoc

— Tom Felton (@TomFelton) September 13, 2019

While Miranda seemed thrilled, Biggerstaff and Rankin suggested that Hogwarts might not be as keen to listen to Felton’s character as their own.

Not sure the Hogwarts admin staff are gonna be taking their lead from you, mate.

— Sean Biggerstaff (@Seanchuckle) September 13, 2019

Meanwhile, Felton also had his own request for Miranda.

If you Let me play King George I can probably work my magic & get you into Slytherin #youllbeback #whatcomesnext #iknowhim #22 @HamiltonMusical

— Tom Felton (@TomFelton) September 13, 2019

So Miranda took it upon himself to connect some threads between Hamilton and Harry Potter.

Okay but but did you REALIZE when you watching it that the scene where Hamilton meets Burr and then SUBSEQUENTLY meets Laurens/Lafayette/Mulligan is modeled after Harry meeting Draco BEFORE he meets Ron & Hermione or

(shut up Lin)

So glad you liked it Tom I am cool. https://t.co/ce1gQ2Ra5a

— Lin-Manuel Miranda (@Lin_Manuel) September 13, 2019

When someone called Felton out for being late to the Hamilton fandom, Lewis got involved.

Better lates than Nevs https://t.co/ZCHcV632xA

— Tom Felton (@TomFelton) September 13, 2019

Agreed. This Nev saw it on Broadway a million years ago and then again in London. But @Lin_Manuel never replied to me 😩

— 🇺🇦Matthew Lewis🇺🇦 (@Mattdavelewis) September 13, 2019

Miranda was floored! This led Lewis to reveal his own connection with Hamilton.

Haha! I was actually supposed to play Hamilton at the Fringe for @AmusicalShow. Learnt all the bloody words and couldn’t get off work. Damn ITV. We’re rescheduling…

— 🇺🇦Matthew Lewis🇺🇦 (@Mattdavelewis) September 13, 2019

And with that comes the end of this week’s Social Media Roundup. Check back next time to see which fandoms might collide via Twitter or what stunning photos your wizarding world favorites might share.
