Review: House Holiday Sweater from Merchoid!

I love wrapping myself in cozy sweaters when it gets cold outside, especially when they’re holiday-themed. This Merchoid Ravenclaw sweater was perfect!

As soon as I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was how soft it is; I knew that once I put it on, I wouldn’t want to take it off. Once I got it out of the packaging, I loved looking at the bright colors – it’s Ravenclaw’s signature blue and a golden yellow, which is most noticeable at the edges of the sleeves and bottom of the sweater. The giant Ravenclaw crest in the middle of the front is beautifully detailed. The images that can be found around the sweater include snowy owls delivering Hogwarts letters, Golden Snitches, Sorting Hats, ravens, and snowflakes to give it a seasonal look. Even if people don’t see the Ravenclaw crest in the front, they will notice it on the sleeves.

I will say it was bigger than I thought it would be. I ordered a large, and the sleeves went past my hand and the bottom went past my waist, but I do enjoy oversized items for a more cozy feel. Rolling up the sleeves a little made it look more stylish! The neck hole was tight, and I struggled a bit getting my head through it, but the sweater definitely keeps the heat in and keeps me so warm. It’s also machine washable, which is fantastic – you don’t have to wait for it to dry for a few days.

The sweater is so well designed that you don’t have to wear it just during the holidays; you can wear it any time of the year. Don’t worry if you’re not a Ravenclaw – there’s one for each House so you can stay cozy while presenting your House pride and love of the Wizarding World.
