“Hogwarts Legacy” Announces Updates to Release Dates

The highly anticipated Harry Potter video game Hogwarts Legacy is almost here. Though initially slated for release in 2022, the date was later pushed back to February 10, 2023, for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Unfortunately, new updates have confirmed that the wait for some devices is going to be a bit longer.

On December 13, Hogwarts Legacy announced a delay for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will now be released on these devices on April 4, 2023. The new update also revealed the previously unannounced Nintendo Switch release date,  which will be July 25, 2023.

 

 

Hogwarts Legacy will still be released on February 10, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Fans who purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game will be able to access the game on these platforms 72 hours early on February 7, 2023. Hogwarts Legacy for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will not offer early access.

The adventure-packed role-playing game takes place in the wizarding world during the 1800s, with players beginning as fifth-year students who have recently enrolled at Hogwarts. Players will have the chance to attend classes, fly on blooms, and hone their magical abilities. Hogwarts Legacy is a single-player game.

Wizarding World fans have been treated to a plethora of exciting teasers and previews of the game. From relaxing ASMR videos to character descriptions, Hogwarts Legacy certainly knows how to keep anticipation high among fans.
