Trailer for upcoming Alan Rickman film “A Promise”

A trailer for Alan Rickman’s (Severus Snape) new film, A Promise, has now appeared online for our viewing pleasure. Directed by Patrice Leconte, the film is set in Germany just before WWI and revolves around a married couple with the wife falling in love with her husband’s protege.

The film stars not only Rickman but also actress Rebecca Hall and Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden.

According to website FansShare, a release date for both the UK and US is yet to be revealed but is said to be at some point later this year.
