Nearly Headless Nick actor and British comedian John Cleese will be honored with the Rose d’Or Award for Life Achievement next month. Cleese will be receiving this due to his longstanding and outstanding contribution to the entertainment world.

We are saddened to report that Pavel Medek, Czech translator of the “Harry Potter” books, has recently passed away at the age of 63. He was known as one of the leading translators from English to Czech, the “Harry Potter” books being what he was most famous for translating.

What a night it was indeed for two members of the Harry Potter family on Sunday at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards. The Mirror reported that Gary Oldman (Sirius Black) award was presented by none other than John Hurt (Mr. Ollivander). Meanwhile Alfonso Cuarón was able to to add to his already long list of accolades for Gravity.
The first trailer for the upcoming CGI family adventure, based on the popular children’s animated program, is now online. The film contains the voices of several Harry Potter cast members, including Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Jim Broadbent (Professor Slughorn), and David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.).
