Will “Harry Potter” finally get the Oscar love it deserves during tomorrow’s nominations?

The Harry Potter franchise is the MOST successful film franchise in box office history, earning an impressive $7.7 Billion at the worldwide box office and yet…it has never won a single Oscar.

The series has been nominated 9 previous times, most of which were in the technical aspects of the film, but has lost each nomination. Will Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 get the love it so deserves at this years Academy Awards?

Warner Brothers launched a massive For Your Consideration campaign late last year and even Dan Radcliffe has campaigned for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar to go to his cast mate Alan Rickman for his brilliant performance as the Double-agent Professor Snape saying, “I don’t think there is going to be another performance from an actor in a supporting role that is so powerful, where the actor had the challenge of realising [British spelling] a scene that’s been realised millions of times the world over in the imagination of readers. That scene – those revelations about Snape’s past – represented maybe the most anticipated part [of one] of the most anticipated movies of the past 10 years. I think Alan does amazing, amazing work.”
