Original UK “Potter” cover artwork up for auction

The original cover artwork for the UK editions of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, both by artist Cliff Wright, are up for auction at the Nate D. Sanders auction house. These iconic covers have become a permanent staple on the shelves of millions of readers, and now one lucky collector will have the chance to own them!

Daniel Radcliffe’s “Frankenstein” pushed to October 2015 release in US & UK

With all the tantalizing pictures of Daniel Radcliffe’s hair extensions for his role in an upcoming adaptation of Frankenstein, it’s disappointing for fans to hear that we’ll have to wait even longer to see them in action – Frankenstein’s release has been pushed from January 2015 to October 2015 in both the US and the UK.

As part of MuggleNet’s 2013 April Fool’s day festivities, we created a fictional news story announcing that Emma Watson would be starring in a live-action version of The Little Mermaid. Along with some help from Photoshop, we fooled a few readers and had fun imagining what a live-action version of this classic story starring Emma Watson might look like. We were amused this February when our fake story popped up as a rumor around the Internet, although some attentive news outlets traced the rumor back to us, debunking the rumor once and for all – or so we thought!

We posted months ago about the first look at Daniel Radcliffe’s romantic comedy The F Word, but a release date for the film has just been announced! While the film is reported to retain its original name for its Canadian releases, it will receive a new one for the US which you can see right here. Are you excited to see it?

Warner Bros. Studio Tour previews a year of magical events!

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour website has been updated with a preview of the special events Leavesden will be hosting throughout the year. They’re kicking off several exciting events beginning with a weekend celebrating the Tour’s second anniversary, which will feature special guests Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima! Other events include Wand Week, Dark Arts, Feathers and Flight and so much more.

New details released about Harry Melling’s Broadway run!

We posted last month about Harry Melling’s play, Peddling, moving to New York for a Broadway run from April 23-May 18, and after receiving a press release we have new details about the performance. The press release opens with details about the New York run and continues with a brief synopsis of the play. The play will be directed by Steven Atkinson, with set and costume design by Lily Arnold, lighting design by Azusa Ono, and sound design George Dennis.
