For the past month MuggleNet has been asking you, our faithful visitors, to help celebrate the birthdays of Neville Longbottom, Harry Potter, and J.K. Rowling herself by decorating a birthday cake in their honor. We received 47 entries, and wow, they were amazing; cakes from all over the world, by fans of all age groups, immortalizing the Potter characters & creator that we adore!

UPDATE: Rupert’s run with the Olympic Torch

As we recently reported, Harry Potter’s very own Rupert Grint (Ronald Weasley) will be taking part of the symbolic Olympic Torch relay.

SnitchSeeker & the BBC are now reporting that Rupert’s run will take place on Wednesday, July 25th and will start at Middlesex University. The University is in Barnet, a borough of London located approximately 30 minutes outside of downtown London.
