We’re only a couple of days away from the first open casting call for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (is anyone you know trying their luck at auditions?), and we now may have our first glimpse at the film’s set!

This afternoon, “Variety” is reporting that Ezra Miller, best known in the “Potter” fandom for co-starring in “The Perks of Being a Wallflowe”r with Emma Watson, might be eyeing a role in the franchise.
This week saw the second big casting reveal for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” the grand recipient of the 2015 Charity Awards, and a certain beloved character get absolutely silly with the help of helium and Jimmy Fallon.
Now that we’ve got our Newt Scamander in Eddie Redmayne, it was only a matter of time before more “Fantastic Beasts” casting news was released. We’ve now learned that actress Katherine Waterston will play the role of Tina, short for Porpentina, a woman who meets Newt in New York City and will play a “pivotal role” in his adventures.
Last week we posted about Warner Bros.’ presence at Licensing Expo 2015, which started today in Las Vegas, and it seems that the company may have revealed our first look at an official “Fantastic Beasts” logo!
Since the announcement was made earlier this week that British actor Eddie Redmayne would be taking on the role of Newt Scamander in the upcoming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” film, we’ve been waiting to hear more. At an event in London last night (June 4), Eddie made a brief comment about the role.
