In an interview with Sky News last night at the Lumos fundraiser, J.K. Rowling said that she will never write anything better than “Harry Potter.” Rowling continued to say that she has always loved to write, and so of course she will keep writing.

J.K. Rowling hosted a very exclusive fundraiser today (Saturday, November 9th) at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter to raise funds for her charity Lumos.
It was recently announced that James and Oliver Phelps will play in a celebrity soccer game. The game is being held by the Crystal Palace Football Club at Selhurst Park Stadium in London and will take place Sunday, November 10, with a 3 p.m. kickoff.

Zoë Wanamaker – who portrayed Madam Hooch in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – is the daughter of Sam Wanamaker, the founder of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. She has given a very rare collector’s piece to be auctioned off at the Globe’s Gala Dinner and Auction – a cast-signed Hogwarts school songsheet.
The website CharityBuzz is currently hosting an auction for a chance to visit the set of Downton Abbey, starring Dame Maggie Smith, during filming in 2014!
