“Foosball,” starring Rupert Grint, picked up for US release and renamed

The Weinstein Company has acquired rights to Rupert Grint’s Argentine animated film Foosball, which has been renamed Underdogs for release in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and France. We previously reported that the film is set for release in the UK under the name The Unbeatables. Rupert stars as the reluctant hero whose foosball table players magically come to life and help him in an underdog match to save the town from his long-time rival.
