We posted a few weeks ago about Matthew Lewis signing on to be a patron for the charity event Walk of Smiles, put on by The Smile Foundation. The charity raises money for children with terminal or chronic illnesses, and was founded by 13-year-old Bethany Hare. The event, which took place June 1 and was held in conjunction with Rowdon Fun Day, was a success!
Above is the first released clip featuring Bonnie Wright in the upcoming film Before I Sleep. The film, formerly titled Shakespeare’s Daughter, is about a young man named Eugene Devlin who used to be a famous poet but now searches for peace.
The lovely Helena Bonham Carter has been confirmed for the role of the British-American actress, Elizabeth Taylor, in the upcoming television movie, Burton and Taylor. The film follows Taylor’s life and relationship with actor Richard Burton, focusing mainly on the pair while they work as co-stars.

Scholastic has recently announced that 15 public libraries across the United States will win a Harry Potter party pack in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman has been sold to Millenium Entertainment for US rights and a theatrical release! The film follows the story of a man (Shia LeBeouf) who falls in love with the girlfriend of a crime boss. Rupert Grint plays Carl, a traveler that Shia LeBeouf’s character encounters during the course of the movie.
The city of Oxford, and more specifically the prestigious University, is known for having produced some of the world’s foremost thinkers. Of this number are five novelists often known as “The Oxford School” and heralded as “some of the foremost exponents of the [fantasy] genre.” The works of these five – C.S. Lewis, J.R.R.
