Hosted in time for the Half Term holidays, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter recently ran a week-long event, offering visitors the chance to meet the animal stars of the Potter films. For those on Twitter this Sunday, you will have noticed that MuggleNet was, once again, on hand to report on the events of Animal Week. From watching kitten training to being snuck into the Gryffindor Common Room to meet Mrs Norris, the whole event was a blast and as magical as our first trip there.
Doctor Who, for those of you that have been living under a rock, premiered in 1963 and was rebooted in 2005. The Doctor, most recently played by David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.) & Matt Smith, travels through space and time in his TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space), aiding fellow aliens and humans alike. Recently, fans from all over the world learned that Matt Smith, the beloved 11th Doctor, has decided to regenerate (leave the show) this coming Christmas. So who should replace him? According to one UK Bookmaker, Rupert Grint.
Last week, MuggleNet asked our Facebook fans which Harry Potter spell they would use the most. The votes are now in, and while some results were to be expected, others were, well, a bit worrisome.

It’s high time I paid homage to the mighty MuggleNet. Where to start? I love the design, (I currently favour the ‘Dementor’ layout), the polls (I actually voted in the ‘Who’s the Half-Blood Prince?’ one), the pretty-much-exhaustive information on all books and films, the wonderful editorials (more insight there than in several companion volumes I shall not name), 101 Ways to Annoy Lord Voldemort (made me laugh aloud), the Wall of Shame (nearly as funny as some of the stuff I get)… pretty much everything. Webmaster Emerson, Eric, Jamie, Damon, Ben, Matthew, Rachel, Jaymz and Sharon, I salute you.
