In another interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, Bill Nighy (Rufus Scrimgeour) spoke about the different roles he has played in his career, including his role as Rufus Scrimgeour in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1”.
Bill Nighy’s (Rufus Scrimgeour) latest film “Pride”, in which he co-stars with former “Potter” stars Imelda Staunton (Professor Umbridge) and Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown), was released in British theaters a couple of weeks ago. The film was shown at the Toronto International Film Festival, where Bill spoke to the “LA Times”. In this interview, Bill talks about getting the film made, the way that attitudes have changed over the last 30 years, and his career so far.

According to BroadwayWorld, the West End production of “Skylight”, starring Bill Nighy (Rufus Scrimgeour), will be broadcast live to theaters via National Theatre Live.
“Pride”, the new film by director Matthew Warchus, is set to premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The film, which is based on the true story of gay and lesbian UK activists who raised funds to support striking members of the National Union of Mineworkers, stars three former “Potter” alumni!

Bill graces the cover of The Big Issue this week, and in an interview with the magazine, he spoke about the way he approaches acting. Bill also spoke about the Robin Hood Tax, which is a “Europe-wide banking transition tax” that the British Government wants to oppose.
