Helping Haiti Heal Wrap-Up Live Stream party Sunday, June 27th from 2 – 5 PM ET

A few months ago, the Harry Potter fandom came together with The Harry Potter Alliance to help raise money for Haiti.

We’re now all getting together one more time on Sunday to host a wrap-up party and to raffle off a set of Harry Potter books signed by JK Rowling. The books were won in the original HHH raffle by Association of Electrical Contractors of NYC, and are now being re-raffled to benefit the AEC’s scholarship foundation and Kamp Kiwanis.  The books had been donated by The Association of Electrical Contractors back to The Harry Potter Alliance so they could be raffled again.

JK Rowling herself recently wrote a letter to Andrew Slack – the founder of The Harry Potter Alliance – expressing her gratitude for the work that he and everyone else involved has done for Haiti.  You can read the letter Jo sent to him at this link.
