Volunteers needed to dress up in “Potter” costumes for Music of John Williams concert

Do you love to dress up as your favorite Potter characters? Do you live in the Pittsburgh area? Then the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra needs YOU!

According to their blog, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to greet guests arriving for the Music of John Williams concert that will be held on July 19 at 2:30 p.m. in Heinz Hall. Volunteers are needed to dress as characters from movies that feature a score by John Williams, which includes the Indiana Jones trilogy, the Star Wars saga, ET, Superman, and (of course) the Potter series.

Participants will pose for photos with patrons and be featured on social media. Participants will also receive two free tickets to the concert and need to arrive at Heinz Hall by 1 p.m.

If you’re interested, simply email a photo of yourself in costume to Rachel Howard, rhoward@pittsburghsymphony.org, along with your contact information by June 30. Finalists will be notified by July 9.

Good luck to all Pittsburgh Potter fans who apply! Post your best Potter-inspired cosplays in the comments!
