Daniel Radcliffe Goes into the “Jungle” in Miami

Daniel Radcliffe’s new survival thriller, Jungle, premieres tonight at the Popcorn Frights Film Festival in Miami. Popcorn Frights Film Festival, which is described as “Florida’s largest and most respected horror film festival,” shows the best new genre films from around the world and runs from August 11-17.

Radcliffe plays Yossi Ghinsberg, an Israeli backpacker traveling in South America who goes on an expedition into the Amazon rainforest. However, when he and his friends are abandoned by their guide, their adventure becomes a nightmare.

Jungle is based on the true story told by Ghinsberg in his book of the same title. The movie, which is directed by Greg McLean, will be released in the US on January 6, 2018, with the UK release to follow on January 12, 2018.
