Potter Career

Potter Career

Kelly Macdonald portrayed Helena Ravenclaw (a.k.a The Grey Lady) in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

Kelly is actually the second person to portray The Grey Lady in the Potter series; in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets the part of The Grey Lady was played by Nina Young.

Kelly was the last person to be cast in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, subsequently making her the last person ever to join the cast of the Harry Potter series.  A modest person, Kelly has said that director David Yates was most likely doing her a favor when he cast her because:

“he’s knocked me back a couple to times to play [the Order of the Phoenix member] Tonks in the Harry Potter films”.
