“Harry Potter” up for six awards at People’s Choice Awards tonight

by Keith Hawk · Published January 11, 2012 · Updated May 28, 2018

We will be streaming the Red Carpet for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards tonight beginning at 7:30pm EST right here on MuggleNet.

Originally scheduled to attend the event were a few of the main stars from the Harry Potter film series including: Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Tom Felton. However, with Dan rehearsing for ‘Saturday Night Live’, and Emma in school, it is unlikely that they will be attending.

Harry Potter has been nominated for six awards:

    • Favorite Movie – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2
  • Favorite Movie Actor – Dan Radcliffe
  • Favorite Action Movie – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2
  • Favorite Movie Star Under 25 – Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton
  • Favorite Ensemble Movie Cast – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2
  • Favorite Book Adaptation – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2

The People’s Choice Awards will be airing on CBS tonight, check your local listings for times and channels.

Since these awards are given by the vote of the fans, we hope to take home quite a few awards tonight. Good Luck ‘Potter’!
